Proceedings of the IV Muratov Readings is finally being published

Dear friends,

I am delighted to announce that the volume containing the Proceedings of the IV Muratov Readings is finally being published.

My heartfelt thanks go to all the contributors, to the co-editors Giulia Baselica and Silvia Ascione, and to Alessandro Romano and Ol’ga Lebedeva. I am attaching the table of contents, where you will find several exciting discoveries: three previously unpublished letters by Pavel Muratov, an unpublished essay by Xenia Muratova, and the transcript of an interview conducted by Ivan Tolstoy with Mikhail Talalay, co-editor of Muratov’s volume Roman Letters (Rimskie pis’ma).

Each contributor will receive a PDF copy of their article.

The volume is priced at €25.00. For members whose dues are up to date, the price is €20.00. Those who live in Rome or happen to be visiting will be welcome to collect their copy directly from my home; I would be delighted to offer them an aperitif or an ice cream.

Copies may also be shipped directly by the publisher. Shipping within Italy costs €2.00 by standard mail or €5.00 by registered mail. International shipping costs will be specified individually for each country.

For Russia, the price is 1,500 rubles (1,000 rubles for members). Payment should be made to the phone number +7 985 124 73 86, in the name of Viktoriya Savel’eva, the Association’s representative in Russia. She will transfer the collected funds to the Association through trusted travellers visiting Rome. The Association will use the same arrangement to send copies of the volume to Russia.

For our members in the United States, given the high fees associated with international bank transfers, payment and delivery may likewise be arranged through friends or acquaintances travelling to Rome.
